To handle claim rejection analysis

Introduction: Claim rejection analysis is aimed at identifying and addressing issues in submitted insurance claims that lead to their denial or rejection. This analysis ensures that claims comply with the necessary policies, rules, and regulations, thereby reducing financial loss and improving operational efficiency for insurers, healthcare providers, and policyholders.

 

Requirements:

 

* Read the data purgo_playground.claims_data

Claim Amount Check:* If Claim_Amount > 1000.0, the claim is rejected with the reason "Exceeds Maximum Claim Amount."

Disease Code Validation:* If Disease_Code is not in the valid list (["D001", "D002", "D003"]), the claim is rejected with the reason "Not Applicable Disease."

Policy Validity Check:* If Service_Date > Policy_End_Date, the claim is rejected with the reason "Beyond Policy Validity Period."

Late Filing Check:* If the Claim_Filing_Date is more than 90 days after the Service_Date, the claim is rejected with the reason "Filed After 90 Days of Service Date."

Accepted Claims:* If none of the above conditions are violated, the claim is accepted with the reason "Claim Accepted" and a Validation_Status of "Accepted"

 

Show the result with existing table with Reason and Validation_Status.

 

Save it as 'purgo_playground.service_request' table. Both Show and save the Output .

 

Write Pyspark code without syntax error.
